6/3/2011 "Ligeia" was found alongside a busy road just hanging out as if someone just dumped her from a car and she had no idea what to do. 

This beautiful buff long hair (maine coone type) is the most loving and amazing little girl and follows you around like a dog.  Since sadly she tested positive for Lukemia, she is being fostered in a room by herself but very much needs to be in a household with other Luk+ cats or a dog.

She is estimated to be only about 6 months old and seems very healthy and loves to play!!  Please consider giving Ligeia a home where she can get the attention she so longs for and deserves.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
