3/26/11- Pending Adoption with his brother Cairo!
3/23/11 This family was found in the freezing cold outside a restaurant in south Philly. The babies were only 2 weeks old at that time and they were lucky enough to come into Cat Shack foster care. They have all adjusted well to home life. Maya (the Mom) is less than a year old and the babies are about 7 1/2 weeks old now. Maya is a sweetheart and loves people. She's not real fond of my girl cat, but the she's ok with the boys. As to the kittens: Ace (white paws and face, pink nose) is a typical boy, loves to run and play. Tillie, the little girl, is a prim little girl - loves to run out of hiding and run right back so you can't catch her. She's really fun. And Cairo is a momma's boy, loves to stay close to me and cuddle.
Momma cat is still nursing. She is FeLV/FIV tested and negative, vaccinated and will be altered before adoption.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
