Sandbox & his sister Pebbles were born at a local recycling center where the employees there fed them. Sandbox & Pebbles had another sibbling that lost his life to a piece of recycling equipment, when this happened they decided it wasn't safe there anymore for the little kittens so one of the employees scooped them up & had them in his car to take to the SPCA where they would have maybe 24 to 48 hrs to live. When a woman in the office saw this, she went & got the kittens to take home until she could find a better place for them (she knew she couldn't keep them because she had several cats & dogs already). The woman called The Cat Shack to see if someone would be able to keep them until they were adopted.
Today they are in foster care & doing wonderul!!! They eat, sleep & play! In foster care they live with several cats, dog & kids & are such sweeties!
Both Kittens have both tested negative for FeLV/FIV and dewormed. These babies are too young to be spay/neutered but will be when they are old enough as part of the adoption agreement. They are already house trained.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
