This cute 8 year old male cat was found by the side of a road, emaciated and badly injured. He had been hit by a car and suffered broken bones and serious wounds. He needed a long recovery period and surgery to save his leg and repair his broken bones.  He gets around well with just a slight uneven gait. He is very happy to be with his rescuers and inside a safe home.  Finn bonds to one person and will probably be a "one-person" cat, but doesn't always get along with the other cats he meets.  He's very selective in who he wants to be his feline buddy.

Update 1/22/2015 Finn is a doll and is fully recovered from his injuries. He is HIGHLY ACTIVE and a real lap cat when he does slow down for a nap. This is a very special cat.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Finn needs an indoor-only home and at least one other active young cat to play with. He will also need a lot of lap time with his owners. Finn is very active but a bit clumsy, possibly due to his healing injuries. Expect him to knock things over and push things off of tables!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
