In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided. In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

Simba is a sweet, affectionate lap cat that is need of a new home due to a child’s allergies. She has been well cared for by the same family that rescued her as a kitten. She gets along fine with other cats, is great with children of all ages and loves to be petted – she will purr up a storm.
