***Adopted 07 17 10***  What a cutie! This adorable little female appears to be a purebred seal point Siamese and was estimated to be just 8 months old when she was rescued on June 1. Amazingly, she was first spotted outside an office building in February 2010 and somehow managed to survive through the rest of our very severe winter weather living outdoors, until she willingly walked inside the open office door of the person who had been feeding her.

Sammie is bashful initially but loves to be petted and held. Given her somewhat timid nature, we are seeking an adult only home for her, but she is clearly becoming more and more brave in her foster home. She no longer hides out of sight but instead comes bouncing right out looking for attention when her foster mom enters the room. All she needs is some TLC and a little reassurance. She responds immediately to petting, purring and often flopping over on her side so you can pet even more of her! She has those striking blue Siamese eyes which work beautifully for seeing flies or moths and going after them with great enthusiasm. Poor little Sammie had fleas, ear mites and a minor upper respiratory infection when rescued, but is in perfect condition now. She has been spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. There is no doubt that she will be a beautiful and loving companion for some very lucky person.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
