*Adoption Pending!* Ozni and his long-term feline companion (Minerva - please see separate listing) were the pets of an elderly lady who had to give them up when she entered assisted living. Ozni is a sweetheart who LOVES people and also gets along well with other cats. He is a mellow, easy-going, lovable fellow who comes looking for attention and can easily be picked up and held. He is doing well in a multi-cat foster home but is anxious to find a real home in which he will get far more of the human attention he craves.

Ozni is a good sized fellow at 17.6 pounds as of 06/02/10 and is quite fond of eating. Some care will need to be taken so that he does not become a major heavy weight! Ozni has a mild allergy which we now think is a food allergy and which has resulted in some hair loss on his face and lower underside. Ozni is neutered, vaccinated, front declawed and has perfect litter box manners. He is about 4 1/2 years old as of April, 2010. He will adapt very quickly to a new home and endear himself to his new family just as quickly! Adoption together with Minerva, his long-time companion, would be wonderful but is not required.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $100 adoption donation!
