This cat is available for adoption directly from his owner.  In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided. In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack. 

This cat's rescuer told us the following about her: 

Jet is a very small female that I trapped and spayed on January 7, 2010.  She also received a rabies shot at this time.  She has to be less than a year old.  She is very tame, and cries for food like a kitten would.  She is all black and has very soft fur.  I can pet her and hold her when she is waiting for food.  She runs into the house to see what the indoor kitties are having to eat.  I think she can be an indoor kitty with a little love, and very may have been one before she was thrown out.  If not an indoor kitty, she can do OK as an outdoor kitty with someone to feed her.  She showed up quite skinny and is still a little thin.
