Adele is a delightful, strikingly marked young lady who was seen sporadically on city streets before being picked up by a concerned individual. "Picked up" is correct - Adele is super friendly with people so was easily picked up and put into a cat carrier! She went straight to the vet hospital for all of her necessary vet work and then came to her multi-cat Cat Shack foster home.

Somewhat underweight at 7.6 pounds, Adele is otherwise very healthy and is believed to be just one year old as of September 2023. She has used the litter box perfectly right from the start. She was extremely stressed when she first arrived but calmed down after several days and is now relaxed and happy. She is up and about checking out her new environment and comes looking for attention from her foster mom. However, Adele is not at all impressed with her fellow foster felines, so adoption to a home where she will be the one and only cat is highly recommended.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
