1/26/10- pending adoption! Wooby is going to a great home with another gorgeous persian!<p>9/20/09 Wooby is a lovely neutered persian male in need of a good home. Wooby was given to the humane society and he was badly matted. The poor guy had to be shaved and this left him looking a little choppy. He needs an owner who is willing to brush his beautiful coat at least once a week to prevent matting.

<p>Wooby is initially shy but after about spending about 10 minutes in the room with him he becomes very friendly. Once you start to pet him he doesn't want you to stop. Wooby is reported to have come from a home with several other cats and he seems to do well with other felines. Our vet detected a heart murmur so his new owners will have to have this checked during his normal well-checks to be sure it doesn't start causing him any problems. At the moment Wooby doesn't seem to have any effect from the heart murmur. He is tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is vaccinated and treated for fleas and earmites.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
