All of the above perfectly describes Sonic, an endearing 2 year old kitty who is now available for adoption once again, through no fault of her own. Sonic was adopted by a wonderful man who was delighted to have her as his friend and companion. Unfortunately, severe allergy problems have forced him to give Sonic up, despite his intensive efforts to find some other solution. Sonic is now back in her Cat Shack foster home, living with multiple other cats, a situation which makes her extremely unhappy. This little girl craves the human companionship she was enjoying in her adoptive home and does not want to share it with other felines! 

Sonic had adapted extremely quickly to her new home. As her adopter reported, she enjoyed playing with toys and with a wand toy, in particular. She loved petting and attention and slept by his side every night. She quickly learned to scratch only on her scratching post and her litter box manners were excellent. She very much enjoyed being the center of attention and was quickly friendly with people who came to visit.

As she waits for her new home, Sonic tries to console herself by sitting on a perch next to a window, watching the birds. She also loves chasing moths when that possibility arises. She needs and deserves so much more attention than she is able to receive in her multi-cat foster home. Please consider adopting or fostering Sonic if you are a loving, one-cat-only kind of person or family.

Looking for a super friendly kitty who will be thrilled to be your one and only feline?

Sonic is an extremely cute, young, petite, playful female who thinks every person she meets is her new best friend! Her markings are a bit unusual - she is a grayish-brown tabby but some of her tabby striping looks more like spots than stripes.  

Rescued from the city streets, Sonic had been seen for several weeks roaming around searching for food and kindness. Now spayed, vaccinated and negative for feline leukemia and FIV, Sonic is ready to be adopted by the person or family who really will be her new best friend(s).

We were surprised that Sonic was estimated by the vet to be 1 1/2 years old when she was rescued in August 2022. She is at a healthy weight at only 6.6 pounds and looks more like a 10 month old kitten! This delightful little cat is bigger in personality than she is in size and is certain to be a loving companion. Just no other cats, please. Sonic will be the only one you need!
 

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
