Ali is a young, petite female who was trapped from city streets late one afternoon and dropped off at the vet hospital for possible spay surgery the following day. Ali had other ideas. When the vet hospital staff arrived the next morning, Ali had two kittens by her side and soon there were two more! Ali and her little ones went to a Cat Shack foster home later the same day where Ali lovingly cared for her kittens. When the kittens were 17 days old, a kitten of about the same age who had been orphaned was intoduned to Ali. Ali immediately accepted the newcomer anc cared for him too as though he was one of her own.

Now that Ali’s kittens are finding their own permanent homes, Ali is ready to find hers too. She is a happy, overwhelmingly affectionate little cat, who often purrs while she is walking around. She is active and interested in whatever is going on, and will thrive with lots of love and attention from her human family.

Ali has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has received her first distemper vaccine and has been dewormed. The cost of her spay surgery at Perkiomen Animal Hospital will be covered by Cat Shack and Ali will receive her distemper booster and rabies vaccine at the same time.

Ali will be a wonderful companion to the person or family fortunate enough to adopt her!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
