Dos (along with his 2 brothers Uno and Tres) was found as an approx 2 week old kitten in late June 2021.   His mom had her litter under someone's shed but unfortunately their dog scared mom off with another of his siblings and the trio ended up being abandoned.  The homeowner reached out to rescue folks and the 3 kittens ended up in a Cat Shack foster home where they were bottle fed, handraised and taught how to be happy, worry free kittens.  They love the big cats in their foster home (especially playing with their tails and sampling their food!)
Dos has recently discovered how to climb onto the bed and loves to sit in his foster mom's lap and play with his own tail and feet.  He also loves to wrestle, particularly with his brother Tres.
Dos and his brothers are doing well with litter training and are enjoying their canned kitten food and growing like weeds.  They are slowly starting to eat dry food too.  Dos is usually the most adventurous one and the first to try anything new.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
