Oliver is a happy, playful little fellow who was born to a very young feral mother on the back porch of a home whose owner had been feeding the mother for some time. Oliver had only one littermate and sadly, that kitten died at birth. Oliver’s mom took good care of him but he never had the joy of being with another kitten during the early weeks of his life.

Oliver was caught when he was about 7 weeks old and came into Cat Shack foster care. He had had some exposure to people as he was growing so quickly got over his initial fear. His happiest discovery though was his new “sister,” Annie, a kitten almost his same size who urgently needed a kitten buddy just as much as Oliver did!  Oliver and Annie quickly became playmates and best friends and now can not imagine life without each other. Please see Annie’s separate description. The two MUST be adopted as a pair; now that they have each found the friend they so badly needed, they deserve to remain together.

Oliver and Annie have both tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and have had their first vaccines and deworming. Their spay and neuter surgeries will be covered by Cat Shack under the terms of the adoption agreement. Please consider welcoming this cute pair into your heart and home.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
