This adorable little fellow was rescued from a horse farm where there were too many cats and not enough food. Estimated at 8 months of age at the time of rescue, Ziggy weighed only 3.9 pounds! Not quite a month later, he has blossomed to about 5 pounds and is enjoyng the good life in a multi-cat foster home. He is still quite petite for his age and is probably destined to remain a small cat. 

Ziggy is extremely sweet and LOVES to be petted. He rolls around and flips from side to side so that no spot will be left untouched. He is tranquil by nature, more calm and quiet than many youngsters his age. He has a lovely soft, plush haircoat that is longer than a typical shorthair but not long enough to be called medium longhair. 

Ziggy is still sometimes easily startled by loud noises or too much activity, so will do best in a reasonably quiet home. Since he has always lived with a large group of cats, he'd like to have a feline companion or two.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
