Katie is a very sweet, petite, momma cat who was a stray when she gave birth to 6 kittens in early July 2020. Katie did the best she could to care for her little ones but was having an extremely tough time in the excessive heat and humidity. When the kittens were 3 1/2 weeks old, Katie brought them out into the daylight and the entire little family was quickly rescued.

Katie and three of her boys, Christopher, Alvin and Filbert, are all living together in a large multi-cat foster home. Katie loves overseeing the crazy antics of her boys and often joins in the games, almost like she is one of the kittens herself. Katie was initially on the bashful side when she came into foster care but she has really settled in now and will be a loving companion to a caring adopter. She would certainly be very happy to be adopted along with one of her boys, though that is not a requirement.

Katie's vet work has all been completed and she is ready for her forever home. Katie is estimated to be two years old as of September 2020.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
