Wren and Lincoln are 12 week old, bonded brother and sister kittens. Lincoln is a black and white short-haired tuxedo male cat.  His long body reminded us of Abraham Lincoln's lanky limbs and his tall stovepipe hat, thus the name.  Wren is his short-haired, dilute tortoiseshell sister.  They are playful, energetic kittens that can entertain each other for hours, playing with puffballs and various string toys. We often hear them both trilling with delight as they wrestle each other and flick their toys around the room.  Both kittens enjoy being petted, including belly rubs when they are sleepy. They are initially shy with meeting new people, but warm up when playing with toys.  We recommend they be adopted together as Wren takes her lead from her brother, and Lincoln cries when he cannot find his sister.

Wren and Lincoln Lincoln have received their first distemper vaccine and deworming and will receive their second vaccine and be tested for feline leukemia and FIV on July 27. (We fully expect them to test negative!) They will be available for adoption as of July 28. Their spay/neuter surgeries will be covered by Cat Shack at no cost as part of the adoption agreement.

Please see Lincoln's posting for additional pictures of him.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
