Pictures do not do this majestic kitten justice! When Bali first joined our foster home and rescue she was a tiny scruffy scared little orphaned kitten with giant eyes and a mane like a lion. While she has grown into some of those features she has also developed a gorgeous, long fluffy tail that puts our short haired resident cats to shame! We often call her tail "The Flouf" and she is now convinced that it is the source of magical powers for her! Thankfully she is a willing participant in our silliness and at night often crawls into her foster mom's arms and snuggles with those deep purrs of contentment. Sometimes that is interrupted with her smacking the cell phone or other object that may take someone's attention away from her. When she is not looking to snuggle she is happy to wrestle with the other cats in the home and should go to a home with another playful cat, or be adopted with a kitten who appreciates her silly antics. Her foster family has a friend she would also love to go home with, if you happen to be looking for twice the fun. She currently lives with a large dog and just stays out of his way. She likely would not take too long to get used to a cat friendly canine friend. We suspect Bali may be part maine coon, based on her magical tail, oversized feet and that at less than 5 months old she is already close to 5 lbs, and growing like a weed. Regardless of her genetic makeup we can tell you she is one stunningly gorgeous cat with a soft coat and a very sweet personality. Although shy with new people sometimes give her a little time to warm up and get used to her surroundings and she is affectionate, playful and sweet - the whole package! Bali is already spayed, vaccinated and tested Felv/FIV negative.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
