This beauty is Caramel.  Caramel came to us from the shelter in Philadelphia, where she was surrendered by her owner because they were moving.  Caramel is a gorgeous girl, on the smaller side, with a beautiful orange coat and such stunning eyes.  Caramel is settling in to her new home at our adoption area at Dog Town in Colmar, Pa, and getting used to all the comings and goings there.  She is a calm, quiet girl, who would be happiest curled up on a warm bed (or your lap!) in the sun. 

Caramel has not shown any interest in playing with the other cats in the adoption center yet, but has interacted with cats in her foster home.  She'd do well with another calm cat like herself.  She'd also be fine as an only cat.  She is unknown with dogs, but we can dog test her if necessary. She should do fine with a cat savy child over 8 who will respect her boundries.  

Caramel enjoys soft pets, and warm blankets, and all the comforts of home.  She is sweet, friendly, and can't wait to find a home with people who will love her forever.  Come see her at Dog Town in Colmar, and fill out an application to make her yours!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $100 adoption donation!
