4/13/09 These beautiful babies are still 2 weeks away from being ready for adoption- they are 6 weeks old and just starting to eat kitten food. 

 The babies and their mother were rescued from a home with several other cats and a large pitbull dog.  The sweet mother cat was put outside when she was pregnant and had to cross a city street every day to get food from a kind neighbor. 

This young mother and her 3 babies came into foster care in the hopes of finding a better life.  The mother and kittens have some obvious oriental traits- they are slender, talkative and very bright, active cats.  One baby, Bell, has blue eyes and markings like a Siamese.  Her sister Parkette is very athletic and has a smokey undercoat that shows through the black in her tuxedo coat.  Little Fini is a black and white tuxedo with high white boots and spots of black on her heals.  All 3 girls are beautiful, loving kittens that must be adopted with mom, a sibling or go to a home with another young cat as a playmate. 

These girls are FeLV/FIV tested Neg, vaccinated, dewormed and will be spayed as part of the adoption contract.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $100 adoption donation!
