FIV+ and Fabulous! This handsome little kitten is the one and only Zorro. Originally found a few months ago as an injured young kitten by the side of the road by a Good Samaritan, Zorro's story took a turn upwards and he is now looking for a forever home deserving of such a sweet cat. Zorro spent several weeks under the care of a vet hospital for a badly broken leg. Thankfully it has healed quite well with his care and we do not forsee any ongoing issues with the leg. He did test positive for FIV (and will be retested once more before adoption) but it is no big deal. FIV cats can live long, happy lives and basically just need regular, preventative vet care to ensure they remain healthy and happy. Zorro is a ham of a kitten and lives with a large dog and several cats (and other foster kittens) in his foster home. He lives with a bunch of FIV negative cats and gets along well with all of them with no concerns. He is a bit skittish with new people sometimes and new environments but give him a short time to settle in and he will become your best friend. He likes to accompany you to the bathroom, purr non stop when you pet him and be cradled like a baby. He is also a big fan of fun cat toys and canned food! Zorro is good with the litter box and slowly learning what should (and should not) scratch in the home, but he is a young kitten who will need continued work on his manners. Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
