Cagney is a gorgeous girl who started her life outside in the Allentown area. Her luck changed when she was rescued by awesome Samaritans who have been working to trap all her brothers and sisters. Cagney has been living the good life for the last few weeks with her finders and now with her foster mom.  She is even more excited that she gets to spend time with her brother Harvey & Sister Lacey! Cagney has been opening up in her fosters home with constant handling as well as positive reinforcement.  She is still nervous when approached, but once she scooped up she enjoys her ears to be scratches. Even though she has been working through her shyness, her new family will need to take their time and allow her to adjust to her new surroundings.

Cagney enjoys to wrestle & romp with her siblings, and of course playing with all the toys she can find. She enjoys laying in a box or nice and cozy next to her siblings. She is currently living in a home with a cat savvy dog and appreciates that he leaves her alone. She does not enjoy the dog to close to her space. She is becoming less nervous with the dog and may do fine with a dog who would ignore her. 

Cagney can be adopted with one of her siblings(or both) or into a home with social, playful cat looking for a playmate.  Cagney is litter trained, tested FelV/FIV negative, up to date on vaccines. Her spay is also included in her adoption. 

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
