1/23/11- Finally, Xanie has found the perfect match!  She is now adopted.

7/10/10 New Pictures!! We can't believe that this beautiful, sweet cat is still waiting for a new home! She is a wonderful cat with no vices. She was rescued well over 1 year ago with a fractured leg. She received excellent care from her vets and healed very well. All Xani wants now is a real home with people to love. She currently lives with other cats and even seems to like them, but her true love is people. Xani is approximately 2-3 years old, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated and dewormed.

7/30/09- This is one sweet young cat!  She is a small adult and very kitten-like.  She will seek out her foster paretns to get attention any chance she gets!  Xani is fostered with other cats, but she doesn't spend time with them.  She is a cat that would prefer to have her space away from other felines and access to your lap!

Original post: Xani was found with a litter of kittens, badly injured with a hind leg that was uselessly dragging behind her. She has undergone extensive vet work to repair a badly dislocated and fractured leg. She is now completely healed and ready for a new home! She will always have a slight limp because of the damage to her rear leg, but this doesn't stop her from running and jumping. Although she survived outside in the city of Allentown for all of her young life prior to rescue, she has proven to be an excellent house cat with perfect litterbox manners. Even when she wore her stiff, heavy cast on her hind leg, she never missed the litterbox and always covered! 

She will make a great pet and will acclimate to other pets in the home as well. She is about 1 1/2 year old, tested Neg for FeLV/FIV and is spayed and vaccinated!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
