This absolutely delightful, super friendly little fellow was recently trapped in the course of a small feral cat trapping project. He could not be any less feral! Kip loves attention and will quickly win your affection. He loves to be picked up and held and will sit on your lap, probably purring the whole time. He gets along fine with other cats and would probably do well with dogs as well.

Kip is estimated by the vet to be 18 months old as of November 2017, though his foster mom thinks he looks and acts younger than that! He is beautifully, somewhat exotically, marked, with wide flowing black stripes over a background of a grayish beige. He is happy and enthusiastic about life, and about being safe and secure inside.

Now neutered, fully vaccinated and negative for feline leukemia and FIV, Kip is anxious to find his perfect, forever home.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
