This super charming, mild-mannered, affectionate boy craves loving attention. He'll climb into your lap, make himself comfortable and purr happily away for extended periods of time. If not sitting in your lap, he's likely to be following you around, seeking your attention. He also has a very strong need for spending some of his time enjoying the great outdoors. So, Hercules is looking for a loving home in a traffic safe, country location in which he can have the best of both the indoor and outdoor worlds.

Hercules is estimated by the vet to be 3-5 years of age (as of September 2017). He roamed a rural neighborhood for an extended period of time, and finally allowed someone to pick him up when he had an injured paw. The paw healed quickly and completely and Hercules is now ready for his forever home. He is currently living with multiple other foster cats and gets along fine with everyone. He seems totally unconcerned about dogs as well.

Hercules was already neutered when rescued, has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and has received rabies and distemper vaccines. All he needs now is his own special someone who can offer him the lifestyle he prefers and who will return to him all the love that he will give.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
