Emily is the best. She is super sweet and so kind hearted. She enjoys sitting with you and talking with you (Yes, shes a chatter box) Emily is not too fond of dogs just yet, but is excellent with other cats. She is a lap cat and would make a great companion for anyone. She is approx 1 year old, she is Fiv/Felv neg and will be spayed and up to date on all vaccines before adoption. She will be able to go to her forever home in AUGUST 2017!
Emily was apart of a small TNR completed in Quakertown, PA. She and her 2 tuxie kittens that are 6 months of age were found outside of a home that was abandoned due to foreclosure. Emily, was already pregnant and we decided to allow her to have her kittens and give birth in a safe environment where she would be spayed after nursing.
If you are interested in more information please contact us! We are accepting applications now to get a jump on things, but please be aware that Emily can't come to her forever home until she is done nursing her litter of 4.

Adopting from The Cat Shack
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
