Fluffy was rescued during a trap/neuter/return (TNR) project and because he was quite handsome and surprisingly friendly, we decided to give him a chance at finding a real inside-only home.  

He's still working on his litterbox skills, but we are sure that he'll master it since he seems to be keenly intellegent.  He's been able to figure out how to open bags of cat food all on his own and even chew through cans!  He's recently learned to open the refrigerator in his foster home too.   He's a very good eater. VERY good. 

Fluffy is super friendly with people...almost too friendly.  He enjoys being brushed and will lick you, a lot.

Although Fluffy seems to love playmates, he's quite playful and might be a bit overwhleming for smaller companions.  We've also found that it's important to be sure that he's well fed prior to playtime.

Fluffy is WONDERFUL with the scratching post.  We recommend that his future adopter invest in many, and make them large.

We also highly recommend that his future home come equipped with a catio outdoor enclosure so that Fluffy can visit the great outdoors without getting himself into trouble.  Your neighbors may not appreciate having this kitty visit their flower beds for bathroom breaks, so you'll want to keep him close.  

Unlike most cats, Fluffy LOVES water!  Homes with an enclosed pool will be given priority.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $100 adoption donation!
