** Update - Levi really loves living at our adoption area with other cats, and has REALLY come out of his shell.  This guy is NOT shy.  He really likes to play with any cat that crosses his path, and enjoys a good pet and cuddle from any human he sees.  It's been great to see Levi open up and get so much more social.  

However, we've also realized that he does NOT appreciate dogs at all.  

So, while Levi is looking for a home with at least one more cat, he would rather not live with a dog.  Respectful kids are also fine with Levi.

This handsome boy is Levi.  Levi was found as a kitten and taken in by a family, but sadly they coudln't care for him, so he is looking for a new home as a Cat Shack cat.  Levi is about a year old, calm and sweet, and a bit shy in new situations.  However, Levi doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and just LOVES to have his head and ears scratched.  He is very gentle, and will respond to some soft words and petting, and suddenly you will have a new best friend!

Levi is looking for a home that will give him a bit of time to come out of his shell, and one that will provide him with plenty of love and contact.  My bet it that he's a lap cat, given time to settle in. He is very friendly, and when he's happy, he purrs up a storm!

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
