11/17/08 "Angelique" was found roaming
the streets and left to have kittens by her
neglectful owners who tossed her outside
when they moved into a home that wouldn't allow pets. She is the most
affectionate, loving cat and enjoys much
attention.

Angelique is vaccinated, dewormed and tested
for FIV and FeLV. She has tested Neg for FeLV but positive for FIV. FIV positive cats can be without symptoms and live normal, happy lives. FIV can only be passed to other cats through bites or similar close contact and can not be passed to humans or non-feline pets. Angelique's positive FIV status just means she should be an only-cat or a buddy to another FIV+ cat. She will be spayed prior to adoption.

She's estimated to be approx. 1-2 yrs
old and a beautiful calico.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
