This is a courtesy post! This cat is on the waitlist for foster through The Cat Shack but can be adopted directly from his caretaker in the meantime. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application in the link below. If you have any questions, please email catshackposting@gmail.com.
Introducing LINK!
All cage and no canary! He's the biggest of the kittens, the only boy, and not SUPER bright, but we love him anyway. Super soft and fluffy, he has just learned that he loves sitting in laps, and enjoys sucking on his sisters' toes (I wish I was kidding). Would be best placed with one of his siblings or another young cat that he can rough-house with.
Link will be 16 weeks old on February 7th, and is adoptable immediately (he will need his rabies, plus 3-in-1 and FeLV boosters between Jan 14th & 21st, all of which he will receive before you take him home unless you'd prefer to take him to your own vet.) We will provide proof of all vaccinations and vet care.
There is an adoption fee of $50 per kitten. You will need to provide a vet reference that will be verified before you can take the kitten home. Homes with other cat-friendly cats are OK, homes with PROVEN cat-friendly dogs considered. Homes with calm older children only.
Kittens will need to be fixed, but we can either make a clinic appointment for you (neutering is +$90 per kitten). They cannot be declawed (if you don't know why we'll be happy to provide you with information about the procedure and its repercussions) and MUST be indoor-only for the entirety of their lives (supervised leash-and-harness walks and secure "catios" are fine).
Cats are a commitment for the entirety of the cat's life, no matter what that life may bring. IF AT ANY POINT in any of the kittens' lives you find yourself unable to care for them (either because of the expense of maintaining them, or a change in family or living situation) we will ALWAYS take them back. Whether they are 6 months old or 16 years old, we will ALWAYS provide a home for the if you cannot -- please just come to us first before giving them to someone else (even someone well-meaning) or giving them to a shelter.
