Nosey is one of three lovely ladies urgently in need of a new, traffic-safe, outdoor home.

Cousin Nosey, and near-identical twins, Nellie and Nora, are losing their outdoor home because their caregivers are moving into a senior communty. The buyers of the home are adamant that the cats must be removed from the property. There isn't much time left - settlement takes place on October 15, 2021.

The three girls are not pettable but are on the porch at the back door of their caregivers' house at mealtime and spend the majority of their time on the porch or enjoying and patrolling the large yard. Their primary shelter is an insulated dog house on the back porch, which the girls happily share with each other. They do a great job keeping the property rodent free.

The girls are now four years old and were all spayed and vaccinated in the summer of 2019. Cat Shack will have them re-examined by a veterinarian, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, and their vaccines updated prior to adoption.

We strongly prefer that the threesome be adopted as a group, if at all possible. However, their situation is extremely urgent so we will consider adopting Nora and Nellie as a pair, and matching Nosey up with another Cat Shack cat for adoption elsewhere, if necessary. The caregivers will donate the girls' shelter to whomever adopts at least two of them.

If you are looking for barn/outdoor cats, please consider this appealing trio.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
