Update! - Emma is having a wonderful time at a foster home with two other cats, and learing all about what being a house cat means.  She is still shy of touch, but loves to be around people and other cats. 

Emma is a sweet, shy girl, who was trapped at a feral colony in Bucks County. Emma was due to be released after her spay, but she seemed to want to be an indoor cat instead, so The Cat Shack decided to give Emma a chance to get adopted. 

Emma is adjusting well to being inside.  She is learing to trust people, and is VERY fond of other cats. Emma will need to go to a home with a cat friend.  She feels very comfortable with other cats, and is learning from them how to relate to people.  Emma will need some time to adjust when adopted, but with a quieter, loving environment, will blossom into the friendly, sweet girl we know she is.

Emma is currently living at our adoption center at Dog Town Rescue in Colmar, PA, and would love for you to come visit and get to know her.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
