In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their 
pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. 
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. 
Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
 In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be
 dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack

Cats need a good home:

Ike and Mike were adopted in 2011 by a gentleman whose wife had died in October 2011

Ike and Mike helped made his days less lonely.

In June of 2012, this gentleman died at the age of 90 years old.

Ike and Mike needed a home. They were brought to their foster home in June 2012.

Ike and Mike have adjusted well to their foster home. However, their foster mom just had 2 stokes. Although, doing well, she needs to find a good home for Ike and Mike since there is no guarantee that the strokes will stop.

Ike and Mike like to sleep most of the day and sit on their foster dad’s lap at night while he watches TV.

Ike and Mike are declawed and neutered. They had all their shots in 2012. Their foster mom will provided some assistance to the person who gives them a good home.

They have always been together but can be adopted separately. They like to play with each other. Due to the different homes, they will need your help to find their new litter box.

Ike has a shorter tail, we think he was born this way. Mike likes to chase his own tail. It makes us laugh when we watch him chase his tail.
