In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. 
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
 In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

 Westy and siblings were found late
one night in the middle of a country road. They were confused, crying and
without their mother. Their current foster mother quickly gathered them
up and took them in to her care. This sweet kitten has settled into
its foster home and spends time actively playing with its siblings.
Approximate age when found on October 17, 2014, was six weeks old. Please
consider opening your home to this wonderful kitten.
