In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. 
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
 In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

6 weeks old very social, affectionate lap kitten. 

Hi my name is  - Ellie, and I am a very social, affectionate beautiful 6 weeks old girl. I am a very pretty tabby girl with white patches and white belly. I was born and raised with my siblings in foster home so I am very well socialized and perhaps the most social kitten you ever meet. 

I love to be with people, I love to be held, picked up and get my belly rubbed. As soon as you seat down I will be on your lap, rolling over for belly rubs, I am a lap kitten, love to snuggle and fall asleep in your arms. I am very outgoing around new people and very curious, gentle girl.

I am playful, social and I will race to the front door to greet you when you come home! I am very interactive, social and love to be with people a lot, see what they are up to and stick my little nose into everything you do and everywhere you go. I love to chase – play mice, feathers, and will jump to catch them. I love nothing more than being petted and snuggle. 

I was raised in loving foster home so I am very social, affectionate and just a fun kitten. I have great funny personality and I am very kind, playful and gentle.

I am great and very gentle with kids, other cats and my brother is available for adoption too: he is a handsome, very affectionate tabby male kitten who loves to give you a High-5, for a treat in return of cause.

I am litter box trained, I am also trained to use my scratching post.

My foster mom calls me a “purring machine” as soon as I see people I purr and rub against them to get attention and love! I love to snuggle with people, right under their arm. 

Ellie is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Parasite-free. Litter-box trained. Spayed.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
