In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page. 
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
 In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.

I am very gentle, social and I love to be picked up, and seat on your lap or snuggle in your arms, you can pick me up and carry me around I just love to be held and I am very playful and great for the family with kids cause I am a very gentle affectionate kitten.

I am 6 weeks old super affectionate, playful kitten! I love to play with other cats and make humans laugh at me during my silly games. If I am not playing - I am cuddling on top of humans.

I am a beautiful brown tabby boy with a very sweet personality!

I am very adorable, affectionate kitten. I am lots of fun with lots of unconditional love. I am already litter box trained and very social and love to interact with people and cuddle together as a furry purring ball. I love to give kisses.

I was born and raised in loving foster home, - and now I am ready for forever home and forever family! I have my sister Ellie with me and we would love to be adopted as a pair so we can play together and keep each other company while you are at work, and its so much fun to watch us play together and groom each other.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
