Lily is looking for a new home! Due to her original adopter's personal situation, she has found herself back in a Cat Shack foster home along with her sister, Jubee.  Lily is an affectionate cat who very much wants human attention. When she first arrived in foster care, Lily was very stressed, even much moreso than her foster Mom realized. Lily wanted attention, but would then sometimes react in a hostile way and we thought that Lily had a personality "problem." Fortunately, her negative behavior of lashing out soon resolved and after several weeks in her new foster situation, Lily has proven herself to be a wonderful cat who will make a great companion. She will, however, need to be adopted to a person who understands that Lily may go through another difficult adjustment period and who will be tolerant and understanding as Lily works through that.

Lily's sister, Jubee, is also available for adoption and is a total lovebug. Please see her separate listing. Jubee will be on the shy side initially but will soon blossom as she feels secure in her new home. Lily and Jubee are completely compatible with each other (and other cats as well once properly acclimated) but adoption together is not a requirement. They lived with a numbler of other cats in their former household, as well as with a large dog.

Lily turned 4 years old on 09/14/14 and is spayed, UTD on vaccines & negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
