1/23/2015: Boots and Cole are living in a garage.                                         Background info: Boots was one of 8 members of a small colony of FRIENDLY cats. My husband and I have been caring for the group over the course of the last few years. Because my life’s circumstances have changed dramatically, I will be moving out of the area. Unfortunately, it will not be possible for me to take these wonderful cats with me. Additionally, they are losing the right to live on the property where they now stay. All are in urgent need of new, caring homes. All are spayed or neutered and will be revaccinated as needed and retested prior to adoption.

Boots is a latecomer to the colony. He is about 3-4 years. He is the most playful of the bunch. His nickname is "Rabbit". Boots simply cannot get enough hugs. As I  kneel on the ground to hand out dinner, he sits across the back of my legs. After dinner, he alternately nudges the other cats, or rolls on his back playfully grabbing at a branch or stick.  When Boots looks longingly up with those fabulous eyes, no one could resist picking him up and giving him the hugs he loves so much. As I arrive everyday, I can hear him meowing his "Hello". Anyone who would adopt his delightful, funny cat, would find that he would bring lots of laughs and smiles into his new home.
