Nov 1 Update- this cat has found a foster home with another rescue group. Apply below and we will put you in touch with his foser mom. This is what his foster mom had to say:"Can I just say that who ever dropped this boy off made the biggest mistake of their lives?! He is an absolute love!! He let me hold him like a baby for over 1/2 an hour, lets me give him belly rubs... he's just a sweetie! Sigh.... why would someone dump such a love?! He's got a home with me for as long as he needs. I'd hate to see him sit in a shelter, so if that's the only other option with the other places, he stays here, lol."

FIV Positive Stray Looking for Home

This stray showed up on our doorstep a week ago. He is extremely friendly. Loves kids and desperately wants to be a house cat.

We planned to adopt him, but unfortunately, he tested positive for FIV. We have three other cats and so are unable to keep him.

Neutered Male FeLeuk, Rabies, FVRCP vaccines given 10/9/07

Needs to be an indoor cat due to FIV status. Needs a home with no other cats or other FIV positive cats.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
