5/9/07- Update-Rachel is pending adoption!

This sweet young cat has beautiful swirly classic tabby markings and lots of white on her chest and belly. She is about 1 and 1/2 years old and for the last year lived very happily with another cat. Sadly, Rachel lost her home because her owner's boyfriend developed allergies to her.

Rachel is very sweet and gentle. Her former owner said she was very playful with their other cat and friendly to her human family. Rachel would hide from strangers initially and didn't like to come out when her owner had parties. Our vet tells us that Rachel is a bit overweight right now so she would do best in a home with another cat to play with, good quality food and owners that will interact with her frequently.

Rachel is spayed, vaccinated, tested Neg for FeLV/FIV and ready for a new home!

All adopters also get an adoption gift bag with some free samples of cat products and a 4lb bag of Science Diet cat food.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
