About Rachel

  • Species: Cat
  • Rescue ID: PetSmart
  • General Color: Brown
  • Housetrained: Yes
03/09/2006 Rachel is now in her new home with her new sister, Abbie. Rachel is adjusting to all the new things in her life and seems to be doing well. We are so glad she found a quiet home where she can adjust on her own. Thanks to her new parents for adopting her!!

02/07/2006 Rachel was living near Lehigh Valley Hospital in an abandoned barn with several other stray cats. We were able to trap her and work with her to gain our trust. She is now looking for her forever home.

Rachel is estimated to be 6 months old. She is white with lots of brown tabby markings. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and negative for FeLV and FIV.

Rachel will need someone who will be patient while she adjusts to her new home. She would do best in a quiet adult home. She should go to a home that already has another cat present this way she will have someone to keep her company and help her with her transition to her new home. She does enjoy being petted and loves to rub her face against your hand and pet herself.

Please give Rachel the chance and in return she will give you lots of purrs!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
