3/26/2014: Another family from the Effort PA rescue situation, this lovely lady came with 3 adorable kittens.  She is a long-haired black mom with a wonderful personality.  More info soon!

5/19/2014: Calla Lily is done being a wonderful mom, and is ready to be doted on herself.  She is a very affectionate cat, who loves to rub against you, purr and chirp and meow.  She is fine with the kids and adults in her foster home, and is fine with dogs as well.  She has silky, soft, beautiful long black hair and a wonderfully long tail.

7/17/2014:  After spending some time at Pet Smart, Calla Lily is back with her foster home.  She still has a beautiful, black coat which will require some brushing to help keep her beautiful. She loves to have her head and neck scratched, and will often roll onto her back purring and kneading.  She loves being around people including children, and is fine with the dogs in the home.  She also gets along with cats.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
