Looking like the cat that got the cream, this black beauty with just enough white to make her a head turner, is the picture of pussycat purr-fection. Very loving and extremely affectionate, Oreo (like the legendary black and white cookie) can be luscious lap cat one minute and playful puss-in-white-boots the next. Sadly surrendered to us due to severe family allergies, she loves being wherever her foster mom is, and one of her favorite pastimes is licking her on the chin and nose, as if grooming her. Although Oreo grew up as an only cat, she gets along very well with the other cats in her foster home and has happily joined their kitty clique. She does NOT get along with dogs, however, having never interacted with any before, and will either run or confront them if she feels cornered. She also has a tendency to smack at hands as if they were toys, a habit her foster mom’s slowly been breaking. 

Outstanding Oreo is spayed, FelV/FIV negative, litter box trained, and up to date on vaccines, and to fulfil her feline dream of happily every after, is looking for an openhearted home with a seasoned cat owner to polish her to perfection while being openly adored in return.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
