In some cases we assist pet owners or rescuers who are adopting out their pet directly from their home by listing the pet for them on our pet list web page.
In these cases you will deal directly with the pet's owner. Contact information for these "adopt from owner" pets will be provided.
In cases of direct adoptions from an owner, the terms of adoption will be dictated by the owner, not The Cat Shack.
Mr. Dixon - He is a big, friendly guy who knows his name, and usually comes running when called. He loves to play with toys and be around the people in the house. He purrs instantly when you pet or hold him. He's around 2 years old, is fully vetted, FIV/FELV negative, neutered and litter box trained. Not declawed. He is a people friendly guy who gets along with confident, outgoing cats (will dominate timid cats), and is ok with dogs. He is very vocal and likes to be Top Cat. So, he would be fine as an only pet as well. He is gray and white, with subtle dark gray rings on his tail. He currently lives with children too (ages 4+), and is fine with them.
