3/11/2013 Snow went to his new home today!

1/18/2013

Snow is a very striking silver tabby with handsome white markings and is estimated to be about 3-4 years old.  He's a large, lovable cat that was a favorite of his former owner because he is affectionate and very playful.  His previous owner's family tells us that he was one of the most social cats in the house and would greet everyone that came to the house.  Snow is shy in public settings like our adoption days and our adoption cages at Petsmart, so you may not get the true picture of his personality there.  He's a VERY sweet natured cat that needs a wonderful owner.

Snow was an already neutered frinedly cat that was abandonded by his originall owners.  Lucky for him he was found by a woman that was known to be a cat lover, so much so that she ended up rescuing or being given quite a few cats.  Recently this nice lady, who is in her 80s, fell and she was injured to the point that she couldn't return home.  Her cats are now being maintained by the extended family until alternate homes can be found.

When Snow came into the Cat Shack she was re-tested for FeLV/FIV (Neg/Neg), vaccinated and dewormed.  He is very deserving and ready for a new home!

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
