Arby is a buff tabby who was in terrible physical condition when he was trapped in a residential neighborhood in Bethlehem. He had severe upper respiratory and eye infections and a number of badly infected, abscessed teeth. He appeared to be completely feral, yet was surprisingly still wearing an old flea collar that someone had put on him long ago. 

Arby has recovered from his various problems and adjusted well to life in foster care. He will come very close to his foster mom at feeding time and it's possible to occasionally pet him quickly before he moves just out of reach. Arby gets along well with all of the other cats in foster care. He hopes to be adopted to a barn home together with his little semi-feral female friend, Aggie, who is very attached to him and was trapped right along with him.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
