Clementine is a beautiful, playful, petite, affectionate song-bird of a cat who is 1 year, 9 months old as of 01/24/13.  She sings a multitude of notes and swiftly falls into a rhythmic purrrr of euphoria when she is picked up and cradled in your arms.  She is content to stretch out her very furry paws and relax on her favorite perch or roll on her back for a good belly rub.  She loves to play and keeps herself busy throwing her toys in the air and batting them around.  She enjoys burrowing under blankets, being groomed by her foster mom and snuggling in for a nap with her foster dad.  Clementine does not scratch the furniture, she is not a human-food beggar, and she doesn't jump on counter-tops.   She does prefer a quiet and gentle home environment without children.  She has done well with other cats but she seems to really enjoy being the center of attention & affection. She is a guaranteed lap cat!

Clementine originally came to The Cat Shack as a little kitten through a TNR project and was quickly adopted out to a young couple.  However, after about a year, the couple parted ways and Clementine was sadly returned to The Cat Shack.   She was suffering from a diarrhea problem at the time but that has been successfully resolved by switching her to a grain free diet, which will need to be maintained in her new home. Clementine is by far one of the sweetest and most special creatures you could hope to find.  She will certainly enrich your life and deserves a loving forever home.

Clementine is spayed, fully vaccinated and negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
