Dec 2013 - It was decided that Hercules needed a new name for Christmas, so she is now Serena, a much better name for this sweet girl. Hopefully she can find a home for this Christmas also. She is still initially shy but loves treatsand will purr and do "elevator butt" once she's comfortable.  She's not picky when it comes to her food.  She's not a big fan of wet food but loves her dry kibbles.  Who will give this beautiful, sleek black beauty a home?

Oct 2013 Update- this beautiful girl is now 2 years old and still needs a home!  Hercules is a GIRL (The name stuck, what can we say?) and deserves a wonderful home after being thrown out of a car window by some uncaring jerk.  Will you be the one to show her that some people really are loving pet owners?

This little girl and her 2 siblings were tossed out of a moving car window when they were kittens. They were found under a rosebush by a caring bystander and transferred to foster care in the cat shack. She is Spayed, tested negative for FIV/feline leukemia wormed, frontlined and vaccinated. She is very sweet and affectionate even though all he has been through.

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
