Hi, my name is Tiger. I'm trying to find myself a forever home. Some of the cats here in my foster home talk about this forever home thing, and they say its a great place to be. I'd like to see for myself, so that's why I'm posting here.

See, I was found as a young kitten in a mobile home park a while back, and rescued with my litter mate. We were born there at the very end of April 2010. An elderly lady was feeding us, but she couldn't take us in, so she called the nice people at The Cat Shack, who brought us to our foster home. My sister was adopted, but I haven't been yet. See, I'm kind of shy. I know humans are good, and I want to love them, but noise and activity scare me a bit. So, my perfect "forever home" would be kind of quiet, maybe with only one or two humans. I do get along with other cats, but there are so many of them here in my foster home, and all that crazy behavior makes me a little scared, too. So, if my humans had maybe one or two other cats who want to be friends with me, I'd like that.

My foster mom says I'm a classic brown tabby, whatever that means. I know I'm pretty good looking, if I do say so myself. I like to be petted when I'm feeling brave, and always use my litter box, of course! Really, I don't take up much space, and I'm just looking for a quiet, patient human to give me some TLC and help me to come out of my shell. My foster mom also says I'm already spayed, fully vaccinated and negative for feline leukemia and FIV. That means I am all caught up on my vet care.

I do have an adoption fee of $85, through the nice people at The Cat Shack. This money is not nearly as much as my vetting cost, but The Cat Shack took care of all of that so I could get a forever home. They also will be able to help more cats just like me. And, if you're an older human, called a senior citizen, The Cat Shack will waive my adoption fee. Neat, huh? I'd love to live with an older human. I hear they are nice and quiet.

Thanks for reading my ad. If you'd like more information, please e-mail The Cat Shack and my foster mom will get in touch with you. Or, better yet, fill out the adoption application so I get to know a little bit about you! There is no obligation when you file the application, of course. I'm really a good girl, and no trouble at all. My greatest wish would be a nice, quiet, calm place to get comfortable. I promise to give you lots of love! Remember, ask for me, Tiger.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Fill out an on-line application:

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
