3/23/11  New Picture!  Quinn is starting to eat on his own and his little white boots are really becoming obvious now.

3/14/11 Quinn's beautiful mother Maggie and her 4 newborn kittens ended up in a kill shelter 4 weeks ago.  They were at risk of being put on the euthanasia list so we managed to find foster space for them within the Cat Shack rescue.

The Babies will be ready when they are 8 weeks old and MUST be adopted with another kitten as a playmate or to a home where there is already a playful kitten as a companion.

Maggie and her babies came to us with some medical issues that took time, vet care and lots of work by their foster mom to correct.  Thankfully, they are all doing very well!  To help with the expenses for this family, we started a ChipIn for donations.  All donations are tax deductible!

Maggie and her babies also have a Facebook page where their foster mom posts daily updates and pictures:

Maggie will be ready for adoption after her kittens are weaned and she is spayed.  She is already tested NEg for FeLV/FIV and vaccinated/dewormed and treated for fleas.

Adopting from The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

The first step in adoption is to...

Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
